A sales professional based in New York City, Michael Schamis joined the business and regulatory consulting firm MarketCounsel in June 2011. Initially serving as the vice president of communications for the Englewood, New Jersey, firm, he ran successful marketing campaigns and spearheaded digital content and marketing strategies. Michael Schamis has been working with MarketCounsel as a business development officer and analyst since March 2013, a position in which he helps lead the creation and implementation of the company’s sales process.
Michael Schamis earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from New York University, and his master’s degree in business administration (with focus on sports and entertainment management) from Hofstra University’s Frank G. Zarb School of Business. As a student, completed internships for Devils Arena Entertainment and Empire Divers. He also worked as a student assistant for the New York University Department of Sports Information and as a photography editor for Washington Square News.
